 Interview Answer – Q1
I’m currently an account executive at Smith, where I handle our top-performing client. Before  that, I worked at an agency where I was on three different major national healthcare brands. And while I really enjoyed the work that I did, I’d love the chance to dig in much deeper with one specific healthcare company, which is why I’m so excited about this opportunity with Metro Health Center.”…from Indeed.

“My name is xxx.  I am a registered Xt with over X years experience.  My experience  includes architecture, interior design, and urban design.  I worked at various project types of commerical, academic, institutional, and residential projects. The project experience is diverse from design to construction including desiging, detailing, and engineering. Last X years in my professional career, I was responsible for techincal aspects of the projects in building code, building envelope, and site construction at the leadership position. That is pretty much what I can say about my career.”

 Interview Answer – Q2
“When I graduated, I found a job in sales for a consumer healthcare products company, where I drew on my teaching experience and learned even more about tailoring your message and explaining complex health concepts to people without a science background. Then, I moved into a sales training role at a massive company where I was responsible for teaching recent graduates the basics of selling. My trainees on average had more deals closed in their first quarter than any of the other trainers’ cohorts. Plus, I got so much satisfaction from finding the right way to train each new hire and watching them progress and succeed. It reminded me of my time as a TA in college. That’s when I started taking night classes to earn my chemistry teaching certificate…from the Muse.

Right after graduation, I got a job at X architects and worked on a lot of renovation projects.  After X years, I was ready to move on; also, at the same time, the company was running out of works.  My boss recommended me to X firm.  That was how I got a job there.  At X, I worked on big projects like academic and housing projects, but wanted to have an opportunity for X, but it did not work well. They let me go.  At X, I had great opportunity to work on interesting interior projects including design and construction and was responsible for managing projects and junior architects, but last X months there, they had no quality projects except tiny renovation projects. I was ready to move on and they knew it.  I got a job at X right away after they let me go.  At X, I had a great opportunity for design in architecture, interior design, and urban design, but 4 and half years later, the firm was hit by the great recession.  A bunch of people were laid off; and I was one of them.  The firm disappeared a couple of years later.  After that, I was having a hard time to find a right job – a long term job becasue I was not quite a X nor X.  In other words, I did not have a specialty.  At last job, I was still looking for a X position, but my boss wanted to work on technical aspects of the projects in X and X.  I thought it might have been temporary, but liked the job.I made a great contribtution to growth and success of the firm and found out that a technical position was a right path to my professional career with specialty.    That is why I am excited aobut this this job.

 Interview Answer – Q7
I would like to manage technical aspects of the projects.  For X, I would like to be responsible for it at the beginning of the projects so that a project is in the right path.  After that, I want to make sure all design and technical solutions to be complied with X before the submission.  For X,  I would like to supervise junior X  for their technical solutions in detailing and engineering and manage their use of X details with proper standardards and folder structure to streamline the design and construction process.

 Interview Answer – Q8
I’m a natural leader who thrives under pressure. I’ve exceeded KPIs and led diverse teams—skills I’d bring to your operations.”…from Indeed.

 Interview Answer – Q9
I need to develope my skills with working with other people’s perception.  I tend to think that I am fine as long as I do my job.  But it is not like that from my experience.  I have to work with perception for my contribution to growth and sucess of a firm so that people know and appreciate it.  I think it is kind of a polititical skill.  I mean ‘being political’ is a positive way, but not necessarily negative.

 Interview Answer – Q10
My greatest accomplishment was when I helped the street lighting company I worked for convince the small town of Bend, Oregon to convert antiquated street lighting to energy-efficient LED bulbs. My role was created to promote and sell the energy-efficient bulbs, while touting the long-term advantage of reduced energy costs…from the Muse.

At one project in my last job, the project was going to proceed with poor foundation layout and coordination.  X was fired and I had to get involved in the project to  redesign the layout with engineering coordination from the start; otherwise, the project could have been in big trouble with construction affecting schedule and budget.  Possibly the foundation might have needed to be reconstructed in part or in whole.

 Interview Answer – Q11
A key client needed a pitch when my boss was out,” you might say. “I reassured them via video, delivered it, and won the account—showing I can handle stressful situations.”…from Indeed

Whenever there is a difficult situation to overcome, I have to be honest about it to communicate with others the problem for solution.  For example, the company was skipping X and creating a lot of X problems. I tried to communicate the problems with the superiors, but they would not listen to me.  I had no choice but to be patient and diligent to solve the problems with extra work.

 Interview Answer – Q12
At last job, other team members and engineers did not understand X condtion; they designed the project and did engineering coordination without considering X problems.  I took a leadership position to solve the problem in collaboration with construction team and engineers.
